| | Dayton, Ohio – June 4, 2025 — On May 22, 2025, SMART 24 Dayton Area held its first Heritage Fund Recognition event in the SMART 24 training room, marking the last day of apprenticeship school before the JATC’s summer break. Attended by apprentices, JATC instructors, union leadership, and Sheet Metal & Roofing Contractors Association (SMRCA) members, the celebration recognized brothers Dale and Gaile Kanak for their outstanding generosity and dedication to the union and its membership. |
