Awards Program

Safety Program Awards

The DBX Safety Program Award recognizes Builders Exchange of Dayton Members that have demonstrated a commitment to improving jobsite safety through development, implementation, and enforcement of a safety and risk management program.  Applicants must be a current Builders Exchange of Dayton Member Company with a documented safety/risk management program.

The Safety Program allows applicants to have their program reviewed by nationally renowned OSHA and Workers Compensation Attorney, Gary Auman, of Auman, Mahan and Furry.  Application review does not included the identity of the company who is applying while the application is in the judging process.  All applicants receive a detailed, written critique of the information that they provide in their application.  This evaluation letter from Gary Auman is designed specifically to facilitate ongoing safety program improvement for every participating member.

Application fee: $150.00

Craftsmanship & Service Awards

In order to recognize and encourage superior workmanship and service work, the Dayton Builders Exchange is pleased to be conducting its Annual Craftsmanship Award Nominations Process.  This recognition is reserved for individuals who show excellence in any trade in any phase of construction or for service work that was completed between October 1, 2017 and October 31, 2018 in the Miami Valley Region.

Architectural Awards

The Dayton Builders Exchange invites you to submit your best work, your best solutions, and your best examples of architectural creativity and acumen. Projects may be nominated by the architect or any contractor who performed work on the job. Projects must have been completed between October 1, 2017 and October 31, 2018 to be eligible. Submittals will not be judged against one another, but rather on the basis of the architect's solution to the challenge presented by the project and its worthiness for an honor award.
